Transfering Contacts

I plugged in my SIM card from my old phone(s) into the G1 and my phonebook contacts do not appear. And yes, they are stored on the SIM card and not on the phone.

But whatever, I put my SIM card into a V3 and transferred the contacts to my computer with Motorola Mobile Phone Tools into a csv spreadsheet file.

Now, which program can I use to manage the contacts on the G1?

You have to use your Gmail account online.

You can log into Gmail to upload your CSV file for your contacts.

I had to choose the "Older version" of Gmail to make it work right though... Click "Older version" in the top right corner of Gmail then import your CSV file.
