I have notice that my G1 Status indicator light does not blink, is this normal? Cause I saw other people G1 and there blink, its lights up when I charge, but does not blink when I'm using it... Is there a fix for it?

it's only suppose to blink when you receive a notification.

Guys,I had the same problem,look closely with a flashlight,there r two lights on the top right corner,mine flashed the first day and blew out and only the message one lit up,I called verizon and it is a hardware problem,I got my replacement and it blinks green now like it should when service

I have a G2 and mine used to light up on charging and when a notification.

Now it does nothing?

should i get it looked at?

Download the missed call app from market to make sure id light is dead

When i press the test function, it doesn't light up.
Neither does it light when charging.
It used to?
It was very handy.
Also neither does the trackball light up?
It used to when i had a missed notification.
Silly Piece of Android crap.
Where's my N958gb? :-)

Yep 1.6.
I have only downloaded items from the App store.
My device hasn't been routed or anything.
Just bog standard with some new apps and Co Pilot 8.

Right this happened on the 11th Nov.
I phoned HTC today and told them I had tried a Hard reset and still no luck.
They said it would need to be sent for repair.
They noted all the info, sent me an e-mail with all the labels etc to pring off.
It's now in a box downstairs waiting pick-up.
From 9 till 1pm.
They reckon it could be up to 3 weeks!!!!!
What, it's a good thing i kept my N95 8gb.
I begining to regret buying this phone.
It's so slow and i'm waiting for a ROM upgrade.
the latest one on their site doesn't apply. i have to wait for T-mob to release one.
Anyone wanna buy a HERO?

This is todays post.

I've just noticed that when I got my Hero back it's running on Android 1.5.

When I sent it away it was on 1.6

It was a standard phone, not rooted or anything.

Why would they do that?

Also would I be able to upgrade it to either 1.6 or even 2.0?
