Can't view/download PDF from browser

Anyone having problem downloading PDFs from the browser on G1? I tried to view a PDF that posted at my state department website (I posted them) and it automatically changed to downloading the PDF but then it gave an error "cannot download. the conent being downloaded is not supported on the phone". Are there anyway to work this?

P.S. sorry if there is alreayd a thread for this

I just checked it out - I had the same error.. This is a serious problem...

On the other hand, sicne we're tlaking PDF - Google today announced that they have started indeing faxed pages such as PDF docs without embedded font source using OCR.. Yay! THis is big news for any webmaster who wanted to ease the posting of magazine articles etc.

there is no pdf reader as of now for android os, nor is there doc file reader or gif pic reader. please instead of making little programs on how to calculate tips in restaurants please make those add ons and smilie emoticons

there is alot of stuf i cannot do. pdf is one of the main things. and i am still trying to figure out how to convert my contact over from outlook.

I even tried to go through the 'backdoor', so-to-speak, and uploaded a very simple and small PDF to Google Docs...

Didn't work!
