Can't download pics from text....

so when a friend of mine sent me a pic in a text it says downlaod file. so i hit download and nothing happens. then i get a notification saying that it didnt download.

i had him send me it more and then other ppl send me pics and nothing will download.....WTF!?

after you download, it should be under the message...

i had the same thing happen to me. i tried downloading a picture a friend sent to me, and nothing happened, it didnt even tell me that it didnt download. So after trying to download it about three or four times, i gave up. Then the next morning i received the text again, and the picture was embedded, without my friend sending it again.

Same here. It says downloading then the download button pop'd up again. Turned on wifi and it downloaded and a new text came up saying the same thing but cant find the pic anywhere

so does anyone know what the deal is with this?

also, i sent a few of my family members a text with a pic of my dog in it (i guess its mms) and they said that it came from a completely different number than mine. they thought the dog had been kidnapped...they called the number and it was some guy in philadelphia (im on long island btw)

so i have my brother send me a pic....doesnt download (he has g1 too) so i send him one...not only does it again say that its coming from a different number, but that the pic didnt download too.

I was not receiving MMS either. I changed from ATT (where I received them fine) and when I got the G1/TMO, they didn't work.

I did, however, get it to work.

First try to send a mms to your own phone number. If you are like me, it didn't work.

In your TMo account (online) goto myServices->Album. There shouldn't be any pictures there. Take a picture and send the picture (Via MMS) to 222. Relativly shortly, you should see it there (might need to refresh/rego there, whatever)

Now try to send yourself a multimedia picture again. It should work now.

If it still doesn't work, PM me. I've gotten a few people to send me a MMS, but I wouldn't mind further confirmation.

um i cant send mms ever....not on wifi or off wifi so i cant send to 222 and i cant download it always says unsucessful does anybody know of a fix?

ok i am having the same issues. tried the 222 thing but it doesnt seems like its sending it out. my problem is that when i click on download it shows its downloading but it just sits there and nothing happens. i downloaded the save mms app and it shows 1 attachment found but i cant see the attachment. i even tried the gmail forwarding thing but when i hold on the message it doesnt show a forward option. this blows.

same is there anyway to switch mms servers so we can send on the default server that the wing uses, cuz i was able to send and receive mms with my wing and no data plan

seems like sending it to myself works but getting it from other people or even sending an image that was already in my tmobile online album doesnt work either. i will wait til tomorrow if it somehow auto resends it like previous post had said.
