Anyone elses gmail not getting pushed to the phone?

for the past couple days, most of my gmail is not being pushed, I have to manually click the refresh button in the gmail app. Just me? I triple checked all the settings and they are correct. argh

Did you activate auto-sync for gmail?

If not follow this.

Settings > Date Synchronization >

- Check Auto-Sync
- Check Gmail

and it should push.

I did. Everything worked for most of the first week (got the phone last friday, a week ago), but for the past 2 days it hasn't worked properly. All the boxes are checked in the data syncronization section, so it SHOULD be working

okay, well at least it isn't just me. Could be either gmail, or TMOs network.

Rebooting doesn't seem to help either.

Same with me. Been working fine since I got the phone in July 2009, and about 3 weeks ago, Gmail, Contacts and Calendar stopped being pushed to my phone. Not good. :(

go into the main settings , press applications , press manage applications , press gmail storage and clear the cache . then go back and press gmail , and clear the cache .that should get it to work after it loads up your gmails . good luck !

thanks for that info, i think it worked for me, seemed fine on saturday since it updated to donut, however monday stopped getting emails

i've been having problems for 4-5 days. cleared caches & rebooted several times. gmail pushes ok for a couple of hours, then stops.

Just want to chime in, having the same problem, kind of good to know it's not just me. Turned auto-sync on, cleared caches, rebooted, etc, still have to sync manually. Running Cyanogen 4.2...3? Whatever the latest one is.

Just bought my first android phone yesterday, a T-Mobile Pulse, original ROM, not rooted, i installed some applications, now gmail does not sync. Same for contacts. Funny thing is I added some more contact with phone numbers at 15:00, theoritically it was synced 17:00, but I still got the same 2 contact as yesterday. :( (I don't want to Sync manually, probably that would work, I want the problem to be solved... )

In settings at contacts / gmail storage I cannot clear the cache, it's gray, I can hit only "Clear data", but it says that would erase all settings I did...


Hmm I see this is the HTC forum (I just did a search), so this is not a HTC only problem it seems
