Hi all,
I like to keep the screen on while charging and was wondering if there is any chance of screen burn-in with the G1. Anyone know?

not sure but just turn the screen off when your not using it or else the backlit will weaken...

LCDs don't suffer from this. It's an issue with older plasmas, crt's, and projection TVs.

Took the words right outta my mouth again!
Get outta my mind before I start charging your rent! :D
What he says is true, but just for fun go outside in the sun light and look at your screen while moving objects and the menu around w/ sunlight shinning on the screen, you'll see trace imprints of the images on the screen. :o

Yes I wondered about those Trace Imprints. Can see them best for a couple of seconds aftr shutting down.

Yeah,
After shutdown and when you're interacting with the screen in direct sun light you can see these. It's kinda cool how they look in sun light. Nothing wrong with the screen, just an observation.
