Does anyone know how to use this option? I'm guessing it's a command line thing... have no idea how to use it, though.

It seems you have to specify an application, such as "word.exe".
However, I dont know what the file extentions are for android so I cant test it.

Source is available although, for some reason, I can't find it now. Anyway, I looked through it and it requires some serious Android knowledge to make one of those. It deals with objects known as Intents, if I remember correctly. I came to the conclusion that it wasn't something I wanted to mess with until I could invesst the time to read up on Android programming.

That feature is mainly useful for developers. There is some
documentation at
http://code.google.com/android/reference/android/content/Intent.html (mhtml:{B2D4F82A-0732-425E-9435-C88780C18F49}mid://00000029/!x-usc:http://code.google.com/android/reference/android/content/Intent.html)
that covers what Intents are and generally how to use them.
