Ok, so I'm rushing out the house yesterday 2 get 2 work. Forgot my main credit card "gotta get gas", no problem, I'll just log on and transfer funds with my wonderful new g1 and its super fast 3g network, which iswonderful when "it's up and running" My light is blinking, and I can't log on to transfer funds. My bill is paid in full, well, I'm kicked off 3g because is wasn't confirmed for my account, b.s. I confirmed my choice when I ordered online! Man I was so pissed yesterday, and I feel bad for the rep who got an earfull yesterday. They could have texted us all about confirming our plan just like they text us when our bill is due instead just leaving us in the dark and shutting us off. Also, everyday when I wake up I have problems connecting to 3g, I pretty much have to restart my phone and then it finally connects to 3g, you guys have a lot of issues to clear up, c'mon!!! Enough already!!!

I have the same problem. Every morning I have to reboot the phone to get the data to work again.

Don't blame T-Mobile and the G1 for your problems and bad memory.

They shut me off. I had the full internet package for over a year and yesterday they turned it off on me. It was a mistake on TMobile's part, plain and simple. Customer Service even apologized and said they should have replaced my old internet package with the new G1 internet package, but instead they just turned it off altogether.
They didn't 'shut you off'

Did you guys get the unlimited plan for G1 an all?
Because I did. I didn't get shut off either.
They provided their services for 7 days for free. After that they put the plans into effect. So that might explain some things.

Everything is somebody's fault for some folks. We try our best to dodge responsibility wherever we can.
Easy to come here since so many people complain about their experiences with the G1.
People aren't doing things TO you...people are just doing things.
The best part of this post is.....you didn't run out of gas!!!!!!
So you are trying to blame a PHONE because your CAR might have run out of gas at some vague point in the future.
Useless post.

Its stories like mine that would have been a great testimony for this phone. In a emergengy I was able to use my phone and its great network to help me out, which I should have been able too, but in this case I was not able. Not because I didn't pay my bill, I have the unlimited package, but because they just shut us off point blank, we outta be credited or something, I was out of service for at least 6 hours, no excuse... I enjoying my phone for the foremost but some things are just uncaused for. It is what it is, I'm not exaggerating any details here, these are the facts....

Yeah, I signed up for the G1 plan when I ordered my G1 online. They still turned my data plan off.

If they were to give you credit for your outage time (assuming you have the $34.99 package and a 30 day month), you would be given a total credit of $.29. Whoopee!

That's why when I got my G1 last Tuesday, I automatically called TMO and checked to see if I had all the correct packages on my account, therefore I would have no problem. Companies aren't 100% perfect, always remember to CYA (cover your ass) and you won't have any problems again.
