Strange Things w/SMS

I noticed that on a certain contact, when I am on the SMS screen and I am typing the person...a different contact name appears on top instead of who I am writing. And then when I look at the list of my SMS threads, it is showing an email address not even saved on my phone. So I decided to delete the contact entirely and re-entered it, and I still get the same thing.

Anyone have any idea why? Has anyone ran into a similar issue?

I am running into the same problem. I called Tmobile support and they have no idea what it could be. I did notice that this issue only happens after I receive an MMS message. If I reset the phone and only use SMS functions everything works fine. When I get a MMS message and then try to send a SMS message the first person in my contact list gets the message and all other messages after it. I have reset my phone three times and I have not received an MMS since so I am dealing with it that way. Sorry, not a fix but this is what I have found so far
