Is there any way to organize your bookmarks on the phone? i dont see an option to do it

This is a pain. Guess I shouldn't have assumed they wouldn't include a sort or folders option.

Until then, it's good scrolling practice.

I found a great solution.
I set up my Igoogle page with the Google Bookmarks Gadget.
Then I set my homepage on my G1 as the Iphone version of IGoogle.
http://www.google.com/ig/i

I also have my Google Reader, Docs and Notebook Gadgets on the same page.
Works great for me.

I just thought of something else to do...
Twitter and Facebook Gadgets on another Tab.

you can make a folder on the desktop full of bookmarks and organize them any way you want.
not the best solution but handy from the homescreen.

They are sorted by the date when you added them, so if you have root you can go into the database and overwrite the dates to order them as you wish.

Which, frankly, is a ridiculous length to go to, I know.

I started writing an app to do it but then go distracted.

Steel lets you order your bookmarks by longpressing on them, though.
