I havent noticed it while the device is just normally running.

It does seem to "warm up" as it is charging - however I have had other devices do this, so I am not too worried unless the phone starts to get REALLY hot.

Nah man, did you even read my post? I said it gets warm when i am using GPS and watching videos on youtube not when its charging. It stays cool when its on standby with nothing running.

It's normal. As long as it doesn't burn your skin, you're ok. You are not the only one with this issue. If you do a search, you will find a bunch of threads such as yours.

its normal for it to get warm, some apps puts more energy than others

with devices like this, they're basically pcs and heat is an issue.. when you feel something like this getting warmed, its because the casing is designed to dissipate the heat away from the insides of the phone. rather than making this thing the size of a brick, they use the case itself as a heatsink.. its a pretty common design with small electronic devices.

The more your phone is utilizing the processors and radios, the warmer it will get. Like said above, as long as the battery is not causing damage to yourself or itself, your ok.

The first law of thermodynamics (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_law_of_thermodynamics) simply asserts that energy is conserved,[14] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Energy#cite_note-KK-13) and that heat is included as a form of energy transfer.
