make sure your phone is off

hold the home button and the power button for 15 or so seconds, past the t-mobile g1 loading screen...

you'll see a screen with an arrow pointing to the g1, press the home and power button again and it should start a factory reset

Will all personalisation and data be wiped?

Also what happens to APN number as I've especially set up Australian Optus APN number etc?

Anything that is saved on the phone memory will be wiped! So anything on your SIM or memory card should be fine.

A question is about some preloaded APP is located on /data/app.
If I do Factory Reset, the preloaded app will be erased, right?
Or it will be kept?
