1st thing I've come to hate about my G

I don't know why I keep losing my contact list. I'm getting tired of updating it manually, only to find later a "No contact with phone number" message. =..( Why me God??!

You aren't, by any chance, going through your apps and trying to free up memory are you? Because I did that yesterday...I don't have a MyFaves plan, so I thought I could save memory by clearing the data stored in the MyFaves program. Yeah, it wiped out my entire phonebook. :-)

Put your contacts on a Gmail account on your computer. You can sync up all your contact information from your computer. Also, you can reverse the same information. If you have your contacts on your phone they will sync to your Gmail account.

I used my old SIM card so my contacts were there but I had to individually add them to my G1. Afterwards I sync'd to my gmail account and all my contacts moved from my phone to my Gmail account. Wish I would had know sooner.

Haha I did the exact same thing. I was like "ooh, theres 200 kb of free space I could use".
