I think I found a bug by shaking the G1

I was playing Bonsai Blast this morning. After stuck on a level for an hour, I started to get frustrated. When the next blaster thing came along, I started shaking the G1 like crazy (yes, that's what you are supposed to do). I have been doing this for a while now, nothing ever happened. Except, this time I was pissed, so I shook it extra hard. Guess what? The G1 made a phone call to nowhere!! The phone locked up and displayed the phone call screen. There was no number displayed, no sound, no response from any of the buttons... I thought it died. But then all of a sudden, there was a loud beep, and everything went black. When it came back on again, I was back at the game.

Well I think the point most of us were making is that if you Shake anything in wild frustration it will break! I wouldn't call it a bug as much as maybe poor construction or poor handling.

Not necessarily. The programmer can't just tell you to do something and if it doesn't work right, it is a bug. What if he said, "hit the phone with a hammer"?

Not intending to be a wise guy here, it is just that you can't program shaking the phone into a game just because there is an accelerometer in the phone and think that it is ok.
