I'm currently on AT&T and would like to switch to T-Mo, The thing is If I sign a 2-year contract I'll have to make a deposit for sure and I don't want to make any deposit at all, I've heard that T-Mo FlexPay doesn't require you to make any deposit,

I was wondering if I would get a discount on the G1 if I go w/ FlexPay...

Also Can someone give me more info on "FlexPay" I've E-mail T-Mo but gotten no response...

From what I know, FlexPlay doesn't require Deposit and I have to make full payment of the service up front...

That is all, Thanks for any response

I work for T-Mobile, the answer to that is if you do a contract on the Annual Flex Pay you'll get some sort of discount on the handset. If you choose to go on a month-to-month basis you'll most likely find yourself paying full price on the G1. Please remember that some stores might cut you a break on the phone, I didn't want to cough up my soul for any contract but when I saw the G1 it was love at first sight.

Flexpay is good if your not looking for a contract. I've had it for over a year, and I like it.
No contract at all, no deposit, no credit check.
You are only paying the month in advance with whatever plan you get (you can get any plan as if it was a contract).
Though since you arent getting a contract you would have to pay FULL Price for the G1, wich is like $400.

If you get the MyFaves for example, wich includes free nights and weekends with 300 mins ($39 plan) and you end up using all your minutes in 2 weeks, you will only be able to make calls to your top 5 or nights and weekends for that month paid.

Is good, you'll never go over minutes and get charged :) since its no contract.

Yes you can. I signed a flex pay 2yr contract and got the phone for the discounted price of $179.99. So you can as long as you sign a 2yr flex pay contract, and pay for your service upfront.

just to give you a quick rundown of flexpay, there are a few key features you may want to know...

since you are prepaying for your service every month, your minutes are limited to the allotment that you choose... so granted if you get the 300 minute myfaves for 39.99, once you use your 300 anytime your phone will be suspended for the duration of your peak minute times (7:01am to 8:59pm), but you can still use your unlimited nights and weekends and unlimited calling to your myfaves... what i've been told when researching flexpay, there is something called a flexaccount which is a seperate balance for things like if you go over on your minutes and need to make additional calls (20 cents per minute), or if you want to purchase something via t-zones, use additional text messages etc...

there is also a 4.99 fee every month if you do not set up automatic debit or credit... no activation fee, no cancellation fee on month-to-month service, and if your phone gets shut off due to nonpayment, they prorate your bill when you pay to turn it back on...

Since you work for TMobile, On a FlexPay account call-forwarding is not permitted. Will Tmobile be adding that feature since most Apps require to forward your calls to Visual Voicemail like Google Voice App or this their a way to change my TMobile voice number?
