ALL THE INFO BELOW IS TO SHOW YOU HOW TO TRANSFER A MOVIE YOU MADE ON iMOVIE TO WATCH ON YOUR G1.

I, as I am sure all of you have been, have been checking the market on the hour every hour since it opened up for some good apps. But as of now there is only 1 video player on the market. . . . That's ok. Get it.

Now this post is mostly for people using a Mac either Intel or PowerPC it does not matter. After much trial and error and research I finally found how to put a iMovie movie onto your G1. There are two different programs you will need:

1. MacTheRipper
2. HandBrake

1. Put your iMovie disc into your disc drive. Open up MacTheRipper. It will auto read your iMovie. Tell it to run and it will save your movie to your desktop in a format your HandBrake can read.

Then use HandBrake to encode the Video_TS files to a MPEG4 file your movie player will recognize.

Below is a example of how to encode your movie with HandBrake, I still need to play around to get the exact size and FPS that works best. Remember the better the video the more memory it will take up on your phone, and the free 1 GB card your phone came with will be too small too soon.
