Battery Help!

i need help with my battery i keep seeing people having a talk time of 5+ hours and t-mobile said that the G1 has a talk time of 5 hours but my phone drains the battery after 4 or so hours without using anything and when i talk on it, it always Ends up the call at 54 minutes, i don't get how other people get their 5+ hours talk time but i only get barely 1! what do i need to do? Plz help because this is really important to me.

turn off the gps,bluetooth,wifi and set it to use 2g only and not autosync anything. thos will greatly increase your battery life just turn things on as you need them then turn them off again.
