Text messagin is really slow!

my messaging application is really really slow.

I haven't noticed this until today. I wonder if something with Tmo is going on. Previously all my texts came instant, now I'm getting them extremely delayed.

You should delete all your messages on your phone and restart your phone. I say restart because you might have a bunch of applications running in the background that are bogging down your phone.

I only have 3 messages on my phone, and rebooted earlier today, still have this issue.

yeah sometimes when i try to reply to a message it says the "blah blah blah... Force close or Wait" thingy.

I can't send text messages any more. Worked fine yesterday, but today it fails every time. I'm on RC19 firmware still.

I tried wiping the phone (power off --> boot menu --> alt-w) and still nothing. I can receive them but not reply or create a new one.

I will try again when I get home and I am on a different tower.

Otherwise, I may have to return this. I am happy with the phone so far and don't mind beta testing, but loosing a basic function in one week isn't cool. Especially, when I had to sign a 2 year contract for this.

I've yet to really experience an issue with the texting. However last night I sent a text from my friends vu, to my G1....took a good hour or two till I got it! Ha ha.

Yeah I'm on the rc19 aswell. Maybe that's the problem, how can I ugrade to the rc28 or 29??
