I love this phone but it's Been acting up lately. First u know when u slide the keyboard out and it goes to landsype screen? Well I don't know why but sometimes when I turn on my phone it will still be in LS view . So I press menu and all if sudden it turns off WTF ? So the only way I can get to the menu is if I flip it open again . Not a big deal but it just pisses me off. Does this happen to anyone elese ? Next I always miss text messages bc I don't feel it vibrate or the sound . WTF why ? I have volume all the way up and vibrate on and yet always misses it. Now the next thing that pisses me off is the stroll ball think (don't get me wrong I love the ball ) but sometimes when strolling it goes somewhere u don't want to go u know what I mean? I'll be back

Either you have a lemon... or an anger problem..
it;s not a kid, your not supposed to hit it.... wait.. i mean.. eh nvm jk
Anyways I would 611 those issues, get them to send you a new one, bound to be lemons on initial release.

i hope the scroll ball going haywire would be a software issue...
if anybody has had problems with a blackberry trackball, you'd know that these things go haywire fairly easy... its a good thing that they're very simple to change on blackberries, but definitely not so on the g1

All would be expected software fixes.. his screen orientation and power on/off issues though.. dial 611.. talk to tMo

Damn bro, this is like the 2nd rant thread I saw you make. How long are you going to keep this up ?. (It's a love hate relationship man)

That would drive me nuts too, whenever my phone slows down I just restart it and it runs smooth again, usually once every 2 days or so I restart it. Technikal why are you even on these forums?
Technical is an apple FanBoi, he`s duty bound to destroy the Android reputation.
How you doing neighbor? So far I am not having problems with my phone so I would indeed take the first advise, Call 611.
Or I can buy that offa you and you dont even have to ship it :)

Tech really is one. It's pretty annoying seeing his constant neg comments in every thread.

As an aside, I had a MUCH worse issue with my very early Pearl: It would stop ringing! After a couple of days the ringer would just stop working and I would miss all my calls until I rebooted the phone. Try getting a customer to believe that! Anyway, it was fixed pretty quickly with a firmware update.
I expect this problem with the G1 will, also.
