i have an 8gb class4 sandisk memory card in my g1. have had it in my tytn previously. while the card is in the phone, and i try to transfer music, i get read\write errors. if i put the card in a reader and connect to my pc, it's flawless. the card is formatted fat32, and i never got errors on my tytn. i'm using a spare pc till i get a new video card, and the port on the front is usb 1.0. could this be the issue? or has anyone else experienced this? even so, the card reader transfers files fine in the usb 1.0 slot. so i'm guessing an issue with the phone. i'll experiment a little, try different cables, but probably gonna do the same thing. thanks for anyones input.

Try copying the contents of your sd card to your desktop, reformat the card and reinstall your files. A lot of card errors have been showing up in previously used cards.
