I was browsing the internet on my phone a little while ago and it seemed to be moving faster, looked at the top of the screen and the 3g logo was there... Soo happy :)

This is great news indeed. My phone is showing up 3G but while I was using Twidroid my phone displayed E. Wonder if that's normal?

Just bought my G1 from craigslist (I LOVE THIS PHONE) however I'm not getting any 3G here in Livonia. Is it possible because I'm not on the G1s data plan? I'm currently on my $19.99 Total Internet plan.

make sure that the 3G option is selected in the phone settings

HAHAHA, just my luck. Just woke up and checked my phone and now I've got 2 bars of 3G, GOGO T-mobile!

i connected to 3g randomly this morning. this is much earlier than i expected it. anyone else in the detroit area able to get on 3g right now?

Maybe they were running a test? I sure hope so...I live in Ann Arbor and can't believe they would hold out on 3G here what with the large Google office here and all...

Yes, I have been experiencing some 3G activity in dearborn/Plymouth = Detroit area this morning too. I'm happy its finally here they told me on release we would have it. Better late then never I guess.

I got it as well this morning. I received my software update and then BAM, I saw it. I only had it for 5 minutes but I was browsing and the speed was great! I sure hope the rumor date of NOV 15th is a possibility and this just goes to show that it could be!

it's still up for me. o_O

if i set my phone down on the desk it goes back to 2g, but when i pick it up it's 3g. :p
