If you mean remove the apk you downloaded from the phone, good luck. If you mean uninstall an application, go to Settings -> Applications -> Manage applications and you can uninstall it from there.

CANNOT DELETE (As of Now)... Only UNINSTALL!

Does anyone know "how the uninstall works"? Does it actually delete the apk too? I would think so since it clears out the data under HOME >>>SETTINGS >>> Applications >>> Manage Applications.

I downloaded an APK file from a 3rd party site and installed it. I had to go through setting/manage applications/uninstall to remove it (since it was not from the market). The only way I found to delete the actual APK is to connect the USB and delete it from the 'download' folder on your sd card.
