how do you make a letter capitolized?

For the life of me I can't figure out how to make a letter capitolized, help please.

hit the up arrow on the far left or right of the keyboard. hit it twice for "all caps" you will notice the change of the cursor..

press the shift button while or before you press the letter you want capped. It looks like an arrow pointing up on your keyboard

There is also a setting that will capitalize the first word in each sentence and your I's all automatically. It has to be turned on though...

whatever! i thought that is what this sight is for to learn how to use this phone, i used to have a tmobile dash and the "shift" key was cleary posted, forgive me for asking a question,

Just look in your manual. It explains that, and more. You don't want to keep coming on here and ask basic questions.

i agree with you. but ill take it a step further.... How did you not figure this out on your own? You clearly know how to use a keyboard... the "shifts" are in the exact same place a normal qwerty key board.

Not to mention the pure common sense of it.

It's nothing against the person. I'm a helper.. but this question is self explanatory. Just imagine if the forums was flooded with stuff like this. If so Please revoke membership then! .:D

I understand . But in the begining there were things a lot of us could't do .suck as ringtones
And few other things .I'm not saying it was the hardest or smartest question,but fact remains . I still see sillier questions.....

Actually it would be cool if you could hold a key and it would automatically capitalize like the blackberry. Having to press the shift key is kinda lame.

Actually in the Settings there is a Text option, and in there they have an option called Auto-Cap, which capitalizes the first letter in sentences.

You capitolize a letter by making it the primary location for legislators and government leadership.

You can of course capitalize a letter by tapping the up arrow button.
