View Full Version : Info From Ppl Who Got Replacements?

Hi,

Ok, so, 3 days after getting my g1 i had to get it replaced, i am sending the current g1 in today and was told friday that i would receive the replacement by wed. Today, they tell me its on back order until AFTER the 10 of nov.

Ok, so i only want to hear from anyone who had to get a replacement.. for whatever reason.

Were you able to get one quickly? if so how? where you able to get it at the store? or shipped? I need some advice here. the problem is i am moving and wont be at this address by the time they are now saying it will arrive. I don't have an exact address where ill be until in december. So i need to figure out what my options are this week.

Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks!

My buddies phone had a strange electronic buzz when it was just sitting there idle. He just went to the T-Mo store and they replaced it with no issue. Of course he purchased it at the store so I'm unsure if there is any difference if you pre-ordered or purchased it at a store.

I called Sat. to get a replacement for my wife. Tried to do it at a store
but no go. The cs rep took all my info and told my I had to call back on
Nov. 8th as they are on back order. Don't have to send hers back until she gets the new one.

How did you get them to send the phone first... I called and they said I have to send. Mine back first or give them a tracking number then they will order the replacement for me...

I'm also wondering this. I already sold my SKLX so I'm not going to send my G1 back and be stuck with an old school flip phone for 3 weeks!
