Drop it? are you kidding? when someone closes the screen and doesn't catch it on the opposite side, they get smacked in the head and asked "How do they like it!"

I wanted to cry the first time i dropped my Wing, i can guarantee you i will cry when i drop the G1 =(

I didn't intentionally drop it, lol. I was re-enacting a dance move when it flew out of my sweatshirt pocket. If only I had put it in my jean's pocket like I normally do.. lol

how did it handle the impact?

I used to drop the **** out of my blackberry. The first time i dropped it the little latch for the back door broke. But nothing any other time i dropped it, other then some dings and dents.

Yup! Went clubbing last Friday and dropped it on the dance floor about 3 am. lol! Not a scratch on it! Just picked it up and kept dancing! yippee!!!!!

Yeah mine hit the floor last week. I stuck my foot out in an effort to slow it down. It bounced off my foot and landed on the tile floor. Not a scratch on it.

I am really surprised I havent dropped it yet. However I have to admit its either in my hand or in that pouch in my pocket... or in the cup holder of my car... dont want to put it in my lap get out of the car and the phone go flying like i did to my curve almost weekly

It took quite the tumble on the sidewalk, scratched up all 4 corners, with the most obvious being on the bottom right it held together very well. Nothing came loose.

dropped mine in the subway. i drop everything on my person at least once. this will be no exception. luckily it appears to be a bit sturdy.
