seems great thus far. No complaints. I have not yet tried to contact their CS though (or even received a bill yet)
I haven't had any real problems in the ~7 years I've been with T-mo.

Supply and Demand,
if there is a high demand, espect higher prices.

No real problems with tmobile yet. Been on for a year and 6 months alrready. I was on cingular before tmobile.
No connection problem yet with tmobile, aside from my nokia 5300 dropping calls on me (was the phone fault not tmobile).

tmo has been good to be for about 3 years now
love my G1 and i never had a problemo with T-mobile!!! I love my service provider because its very economic and i dont have drop calls in my area... and it does matter what type of phone you have when you make a call because some phones are made durable and some are just sensitive for ex. MOTOROLA RAZRS any kind... not that im hating on them or anything... they have some outstanding technology but they are so compact that if you dropped you phone you just damaging internal components even faster than the other phones.... well thats just opinion!!! Love Tmobile

i really like t-mobile (ALOT better then verizon) somes times i get upset with em over small things but never anything big.
the only thing i wish is they had better coverage out in the middle of no where like all-tel has but they only have it cuz they bought up the small cell phone comanies around here.
I like t-mobile :D and like my G1

I've been a customer of T-Mobile for more than 4 years, no problems. I think their customer service does a great job of going above expectations when they can.
Some highlights:
- Never had to pay a roaming charge within the US (I even roamed onto Cingular once or twice)
- After I got my first T-Mobile plan I called to cancel the Asurion roadside assistance they like(d) to tack on. The rep noticed it was only a few days from my birthday and threw a couple hundred extra minutes at me (I didn't need them but it was a nice, unprovoked gesture). I think I was still on contract at the time.
- There was one other time I called about something or other and they randomly gave me some more minutes.
- When I bought my G1 I wanted to first downgrade my voice plan since I don't talk on the phone much anymore. I called CS and they took care of it for me, assured me it wouldn't affect my upgrade eligibility, and they even made the plan change retroactive for the billing cycle I was in (saving me $10)
- IIRC when I went to Ontario last summer T-Mobile's roaming rates on Rogers were much better than my Verizon customer friends were getting.
I also have never seen a weird, bogus charge on my bill. I've heard lots of stories from Vzn and Cingular customers about this problem...
[the only exception is the roadside assistance thing, but the sales rep told me about it up front before I signed and he also said I could call to cancel it]
The ONLY complaint I have with T-Mobile is spotty coverage in some places in the DC area, but most of the time my issues have also been due to poor phone reception. When I had a company phone from Verizon I hardly ever found a place where I didn't get a signal on it.

I used to work for T-mo a couple years back and I have always loved thier service. When I moved to North Carolina I had to cancel since NC didnt have T-mo yet. Now that they bought suncom and the G1 came out, I'm BACK! Woohoo! I gotta say though Suncom's network sucks big time. Hopefully T-mo will put some money in the network here.

I love t-mobile. I never have any problems with coverage, dropped calls or any issues with my bill. I think the customer service is always top notch. Whenever I call they are always friendly to me, and I think they are very patient. I've had t-mobile for 5 years now.

I've never had an issues with tmo. And actually, ive been quite surprised on how much they have helped reduce minute overages and stuff like that.
one month i used ALOT of minutes, and went over like 80 bucks. When my bill came out i called them and they added "mobile-to-mobile" on so it took all the minutes i had used talking to TMO subscribers were taken off. and they also took off a couple old "myfaves" people and added new ones. so i ended up with like a 10-20 larger bill.. beats the 80 something i was going to be stuck with. I know att would never do that, atleast with my experience. That company is shiesty as hell. Infact they would probobly add more charges just for asking them for help.
I do hear lots of people i know or meet bitch about tmos coverage. which i HARDLY EVER go somewhere i dont get service even in mountains and ****. My favorite is hearing that from people who have ATT.... cause to the best of my knowlage TMO leases ATT towers. so wherever ATT has service TMO will too. ++++Wherever TMO has towers too.
ps i have had tmo for about 5-6 years.

Well I am an original customer. Well actually an original customer 3 times over. I started with Omnipoint, they were bought out by VoiceStream. Then they were bought by T-Mobile. As far as I can remember. I have been with them between 10 to 12 years. Not really sure cause I frankly don't remember. I actually still use my original sim card provided by Omnipoint. On all of my phones in the past, my screen has always displayed Omnipoint. Just thought I'd share that.
Anyways, I've had many problems over the years. 99% were my fault. But needless to say. I am satisfied with my service and I just got my phone literally minutes ago. Been working on the G1 emulator developing an app and now I have one in hand. Now all I need is my partner to get his and we will be in business to start testing. I will keep you all posted. Love my G1 and T-Mobile!!!!

I have been a T-Mobile customer for 9+years. I started out as a Voicestream customer. While the coverage is not as good as Verizon's (I can't get a signal on top of Mt. Ranier), their customer service rocks. Whenever I have had overages, they have always helped me find ways to reduce my bill to reasonable amounts. They have always been friendly and helpful. Whenever I have had a technical issue, it has been promptly addressed and a replacement phone sent to me.
My phone was stolen about 5 years ago. The CS rep told me what numbers had been recently placed from the phone and I tracked down the Bi-tch that stole my phone. Unfortunately, I was unable to retrieve it from the thief but T-Mobile promptly sent out a replacement for me.
Needless to say, I love T-Mobile!

I was with them 2 years before switching to another carrier, now I'm back a year later. Whenever I called them, they were kind, spoke fluent English, and always answered my questions w/o any contradictions. I've never had to call them much anyways. I just wish the reception was better at my work, it's always one or two bars, but sprint and alltel is basically the same too, so I guess it's not that big of a deal.

I can say in the last two years I've bouned from T-mobile, Sprint, AT&T and back to T-mobile. CS has always been better at T-mobile than all those other services.
The prices for the service have always been a high point for T-mobile, and since I got my G1 I haven't experianced a single dropped call, or issue like that.
I'm glad to be back with T-mobile, AT&T are a bunch of pirate *******s.
