Screen Protector? G-1 Optical Glass?

The iphone has optical glass on the screen and therefore cannot be scratched... Does the G1 have an optical screen? Or do i need a screen protector? :(

all screens scratch some just more hard to scratch then others. Ivanfrost get yourself a screen protector. They are very cheap for the amount of protection they offer for your phone.
