How long until we get a reliable Instant Messenger client?

Really the only thing preventing me from stepping into the dam tmobile store is the IM clients! they are horrible! Im sure there will be new ones, but I cant wait! Imagine nothing develops until next year, tragic!

Although my (apparently uncharacteristicly) good battery life will drop significantly if I can use AIM via data... I'll be IMing constantly...

But still... soon, I hope!

i sure hope so, cuz the G1 sells itselff, but alot of my customers go on aim, so a better client would envoke a better sale.

There's already one called IM+ which appears to be pretty great, although it didn't want to stay open very well.

I am hoping that Meebo releases that version that they had running on the previous SDK's emulator back in the summer. Come on Meebo!

well the default is perfect for me, never crashed, works nice. since that didnt happen in your 2 week period i believe you owe me $20 :P
