Specific address in Street View?

Everytime I switch to Street View when I type in address, it will show up as the blue dot, but I can never get it to go to that address for street view.

When I try to touch it on the map, it usually chooses something around the area and says "Touch for STreet View" of some address I touched.

How can I just type in an address and get a street view of that address?

BTW I know some areas do not have street view, but the areas I am trying do, as I can eventually get there by "walking" in street view

I haven't cracked the code on this one either. I'm sure some smart person out there has though. B/c usually for me, with my fat fingers, I usually hit the street next to the street I'm trying to hit and I have to walk around the block. I guess I could use the exercise though... :)

You know, I have a hard time doing that too. I have to hit that stupid plus sign about ten times before it actually zooms in, and by then, I've moved the little man to the place right under where the plus sign is/used to be b/c I hit the map instead of the control. Quite annoying.

Once you get on street view and it shows the dot, just press the track ball down once and it should prompt you to touch the screen.

You've solved the case detective.

I read the manual before the phone was even shipping. I installed the SDK emulator a month before.

And this is just one of those things I didn't figure out on my own.
