Every time I hang up the phone it goes to standby

Every time I hang up the phone it goes to standby. When I make a phone call using the screen from previous calls and hang up, how can I prevent my phone from going into standby. Generally, I prefer to clear my phone back to the home screen before putting it in standby, that way when I go to use it I have a clean screen. It's a pet peeve, I know. I've searched the whole phone for a setting and I haven't found anything. Anyone have any ideas, or tricks on preventing that?

Preferably, something that doesn't require the other end to hang up before me. That would just cause people to sit on the line wondering why I'm still there.

While in the call you can press the menu button, and then the "end call" on the far right of the options that pop up. Its not as easy, but it will then give you the ability to press the home button, and then the end key to go into standby. Not the easiest option, but an option non-the-less.

Thanks. True about not being convenient, but I'm going ro try it anwayas. Maybe an app will come out that does something about it.

Press end only once?

Yeah, she's right, just press end once and it wont go into standby. I just tried it and it worked.

Strange. I noticed it once but ever since then it just ends the call for me. Onle time it goes to locked screen is when I receive a call and it was locked to begin with.

Yeah. It'll only be locked if it was locked before. If you only press it once, it should work just fine buddy. :)
