3G in Denver! So long Edge

I spoke with a manager of a T-mobile store today and Denver will be going to 3G in the first or second week in November. He just got back from G1 training (where HTC gave him a black G1 for free) and said T-mobile is ready to flip the G3 switch in Denver! I am suprised how fast my G1 is with Edge and can't wait for them to get us on G3! Also he debunked the rumor that old SIM cards will not work with the G3 service. My SIM card is from the Voicestream days and he said it will work just fine.

yes haha, im in pueblo for college but go to denver every weekend, my g1 should be here wedensday

Yeah you think the speeds are awesome on 3G, wait till you see the battery consumption! I use Edge more then 3G now and i am in a 3G area.

I'm in fort collins. hopefully they'll get 3G there pretty soon too.
