resending text message

Is there a way to resend a text message? I know if you long press the message you get the option to forward but If possible I want to resend.

I think you can only resend it if it is a message that is failed. .

ok thanks. I wasn't able to figure it out so I wasn't sure. I used to do that all of the time with my old phones. Oh well just a minor thing to give up for all of the extras.

I can't figure out how to resend a text message that didn't go the first time!!!! I've looked everywhere, and don't see the option. :mad:

When I get the message it did not send I go into the message and double tap the icon and it will paste the text for me but there is a bug and sometimes it will paste one of the other persons messages so it looks like I'm re sending their message.
