Purchase movies on Amazon?

If not, I'm trying to find the best sites to download movies (mp4) to add to my video player app.

Any suggestions?

I hope they will add it the future.. It seems to make sense. We can get mp3 downloads...why not movies.

They don't have movies on the iTunes store on the iPod Touch/iPhone because the files are too big and it would take forever to download - limiting bandwith and probably reducing your phone's speed to a snails pace.

What I don't understand is when music from Amazon are downloaded straight to the SD card, why can't apps?

i'm sure there was a reason for google doing this, whatever it is we'll most likely never find out... as far as apps running from the sd card it is fundamentally sound and easy to do so, but the reason you can't is because the OS was written specifically like this... its just a few changes/modifications to allow you to do so...

Here's an idea. Download movies off the internet, Convert them into mp4 files and store them on to your memory card. :)

I'm curious, has anyone made a converter specifically for the G1 yet? Just wandering, I know there will be one eventually though.
