Unable to successfully sign into gtalks for the past 3days

for some random reason i have been unable to login into gtalks on the my phone.
it just says im signing in but never loads my contacts, people can see me online but are unable to message me.

i hav shut the phone completely off, pulled out the battery numerous times, still not able to log into gtalk.

any ideas?

i just signed onto the gmail website and i a unable to log into gtalks there......
something seems to be wrong with the account itself :(

i just did a hard reset of the phone, the sluggishness of the phone is gone, but gtalks still cant log in.

if you wanna try it also, i found this online...
If your T-Mobile G1smartphone is not responding or is frozen, you may have to opt for a hard reset. Here’s how:
1. Turn the G1 off. If it’s frozen on, take the battery out and put it back in the unit.
2. Hold the Home and Power keys down at same time for about 25 seconds. You will see a yellow triangle screen with exclamation point in the middle.
Now to wipe the device clean:
3. Press Alt+L.
4. Press Alt+W for a factory reset.
5. Press the Home and Back keys again for about 25 seconds.
The device should then reset again and the hard reset is complete.

If you want stuff like this fixed, you should go over to the official T-mobile forums, try to find a post that talks about this issue (search "talk") and post a comment there. Preferably an Admin responds, but that usually only happens if many people post the same problem. That way they know this issue exists. That or call CS (though they probably don't know the solution they might be able to report it).

i had this issue earlier while getting an error message that said the network couldnt read the phone number off the sim card...
to fix the problem i just signed in using maverick im program.

i tired the maverik program i was able to sign in, but now it says i have no contacts, sweet lol

the issue just started 3 days again.
when i 1st got the phone everything worked fine

i fixed the issue.

i logged into maverik, it indicated i didnt have any contacts/friends
i simply added my friends again , and i am able to log in without any problems

very weird experience
let me know if u guys are still having trouble
