When my keyboard is exposed, the left side of the display is about 3/16 lower than the right side. Is this what everyone else is experiencing. It doesn't really bother me...just curious.

Yeah I noticed that too. It kind of bothers me because I get irritated with things like that :D
3/16" ?
will this even show up in a pic?

Mine too, I can't stand it. But it seems to be "normal" for this device.

Are you sure there is a 3/16" difference? Mine is only 1/32".

Yeah, At least 1/8. I figured it was part of the way it's designed. I'll just have to ignore my OCD.

Mine does the same...and I too have OCD. It is driving me mad!

I'm not alone. I hate the screen being a bit off.

Yeah, it's about 3 or 4 degrees off-level. Really freaking annoying. Looks horrible during certain apps, like messaging which has a lot of straight, horizontal lines that just don't...line...up...
Really, really lame.

I have to think it is a consequence of the unusual slider mechanism that HTC chose. I mean why bother with that semi circular sliding action? They should have just had a directly straight up slide, then there would have been no tilt to the screen, AND they could have had the screen slide on 2 rails which would have been a lot more durable than the current arrangement. Oh well it works, durability will not be known for some time.

Yup. Have the same prob. Screen slightly loose and can be pushed but tilts back once I let go. Guess this will happen to most of us after a while of usage.
