IM application error

Is anyone getting an error message that says the phone number cannot be read from the sim card, please contact your operator for details...
But then later on I can sign in after a few hours or a soft reset...
I am able to surf the web, make calls, but occasionally can't sign into I'm... so I'm using maverick and it let's me sign in fine.

this is an issue you'll get on any phone that uses the carrier's SMS system to utilize instant messaging... may not get the same error, but its fundamentally all from the same piss poor design...

just gotta deal til we get something better
