Have had my HTC Desire for 4 weeks.
Love Google Maps & Navigation Apps, extremely handy.
Couple of days ago neither app would load. Given error message stating "problem occurred when loading, force stop required". Click button to force stop.
Neither program would load after repeated attempts.
I tried a few things:
1. Attempted to open apps from main app listing, rather than icon on one of my home pages
2. Turned off phone, rebooted after a few minutes
3. Force stop both apps using App Manager
4. Turned on both GPS and Wireless
Still no joy.
Finally went to Android Market and downloaded the most current version of Google Maps. Both apps are now working fine.
What the...?!
Is this just a possible software glitch where reloading the program fixes the issue?
Any ideas, comments, similar experiences
