My g1 got jacked!!!

I can't believe this happened to me! Was so excited waiting for the ups guy the whole day then he came, signed for it, happily open the package, and guess what? ... All I see was a hole where the phone should be. I am so pissed. The sim card is gone too. Arrrg!

The seal was broken. I called Tmo and they are gonna investigate and get back to me 3-5 business day. I then looked up UPS employee "history" and found that I am not the first. Just my luck...:(

I dont remember who, but theres one guy who dropped his phone in the Atlantic Ocean the first or second day he got it. You both have horrible luck!

Please leave all the packaging and such intact. Don't throw ANYTHING away. When we have damaged or tampered packaging, UPS for specific situations will actually send someone out to either photograph or take the damaged packaging for the claim that T-Mobile will be filing with them. It should help them track things down.

T-Mobile will probably send you another one once they get word back from UPS.

Yes we will we have to file a handset research form, and that can take up to 72 hours for that. But who ever has it will be found each phone has the IMEI attached to it and if you make calls from that phone it can be tracked down. I have customers all the time trying to say they didnt make calls and when I look at the call detail I can pull the IMEI from any call in question. Whne I tell them the numbers match that of the phone they are using they usually hang up on me :p.

After reading so many stories about jacked stuff from the packages I always record initial opening of the smaller packages - just in case they don't believe me. After it is on camera it was sealed then opened and something is missing they better make it up and make it up fast :)

Thanks guys! I just can't believe it actually happened to me. I thought it only happens in movies! Lol. I have everything else with me. He only took the phone and sim card. I hope they can track him down and he gets what he deserves, but most likely he sold the phone already.
