new pouch fits G1 **pics**

i ordered the body glove pouch and i got it today. seems to work really well. phone fits really nice and it has a swivel clip on back. the front of the pouch is clear (which is my fav part) so when it rings peeps are like "dizaaaaamn is that the new Gphone?" :eek:

it can fall out but its kinda hard to swivel. ima try a few diff pouches to see what looks and fits best.

its not like wrapped aroung the phone. its a pouch that you just drop the phone in. to slide the phone open you take the phone out. lol

From here it appears that you need to remove the G1 from the pouch to swivel. To each their own. I'll probably go with a rubber/hard case I've been eyeing from ebay and a pouch

yeah, you gotta take it out to type, but it works well, I use it inside my pocket kinda like a holster with the clip on the outside of my pocket

My only concern would be the G point getting damaged. Does the chin do its job protecting it from getting caught on the pouch?

nope, slides right in. its an awesome fit. just came back from walmart bout 5 mins ago and they have it there! go check it out and see how it feels. i love it.

yeah but then you have to shop at Wal Mart :P The trackball is fine in it, the only thing I worry about is the belt clip swivel on the inside of it wearing the back of my phone after a lot of use, I didn't see any wear on my MDA which is what I used to use this case for so I'm not too worried.

Yea its a nice case i found it a walmart and its easily the best fitting case i have came across for the G1 another nice thing if you put the phone in upside down you can have your headphones plugged in and the window fits the screen perfectly the touch screen also works though the window as well

EDIT: I know it has a magnetic close but I really don't use the compass that much for it to be a problem.

I picked one of these cases for both my G1's at Walmart. 25.67 with tax for both.

Nice case, easy to access G1. Swivel is only a 45 degree swivel, so case is never upside down.
