have you been successful?
i've spoken to atleast 5 different people and they're all telling me that i have to basically return the phone and they'll credit my money back . so in other words no exchanges are taking place.
but yet i've read some posters saying they're getting theirs exchanged :confused:

Mine is being exchanged through business sales. I do have to pay for the new one up front and then will be credited once the original phone is received. Seems reasonable to me.

Ya, i got them to send me a new one right away and am sending this one back. if i dont get the original back soon ill get charged for two, but not right away- just have to make sure the first gets back by the send of next week. But the new one will be here tuesday.
I would ask to speak to a supervisor or another department. A guy in PDA support is who did it for me.

Bad News Guys,
I just got off the phone with T-mobile. They had ordered me a new G1 which was supposed to be here by next week to replace my defective one. Just called again, no such luck, my phone hasn't shipped and its not going to. They cannot guarantee jack no matter what they say. Good thing, they found a way to cancel my G1 order, let me go to the store and buy a new one under a full discount and return the defective one under buyers remorse. This is the best and quickest option. Take it from someone who has spent hours on the phone with them this week.

Sorry to hear you had trouble. They exchanged mine without difficulty, my new one arrives Wednesday or Thursday. Not sure why they are making it difficult for you.
