how much will my current 1gb sd card hold that came with the phone ? How many songs,apps? R apps even saved on the sd card? Also how can I get some of my iTunes songs to my g1? Is it even possible? I have windows xp btw not a mac . Thanks

It all depends on how long in lenth the songs are and what bitrate they are recorded in. The bigger the bitrate the bigger in size the file is. Something to consider also is the format in which on the song is in. Chances are if you downloaded songs from itunes they are copy protected. Good luck trying to copy those. If i am not mistaken the songs that you get from Amazon MP3 on your phone are DRM free?

The apps are not stored on the memory card.

Search for "remove drm from itunes songs" on google. Not posting links because it may not be kosher w/ the admins. There are solutions out there.

Regarding the 8GB card, search the fourms...there have been multiple posts on that very subject.

Since the itunes music has DRM then no, you dont have a chance But my buddy google knows how to help you with that... ;)

you can put itunes songs in ur phone i put alot in my g1 alrdy

what to do to put songs in ur g1 phone
1. connect g1 to comp wit usb
2. go to my comp look for removable disk
3. double click then look for the music file
4. drag n drop then u got the songs in ur g1

Ok, It looks like I can load songs on the g1, but how do I play them if they are locked?
