we've been over this in the forums. Theres a deductable with that plan that almost makes it not worth while unless something happens fairly early on. My two cents: Make sure you have a good renters/home owners insurance plan, it will cover the phone along with all your other toys.

It's $5.99 per month. The deductible is $125 if it gets lost/broken/stolen/etc. No deductible for warranty-level stuff.

I went ahead and added it, since you would otherwise have to pay full menu price ($399) for at least a year. Actually, I think it takes 18 months to get back to having the full upgrade discount.

18 months x 5.99 = $107.82
Deductible.............$125.00
----------------------------
Total....................$232.82

You still save money if you need to replace the phone even once before it's time to upgrade again.

I agree
it is always cheaper to go through the insurance on a phone. I have actually done it before and not paid a deductible. I am not willing to pay the full price of the G1 again.
