View Full Version : Anyone else have problems seeing Brown G1 keyboard?
Well, I love the brown/bronze color G1, but I'm now finding that in low light, reading the keyboard lettering is a PIA.
when the backlighting comes on, in low light, the letters basically disappear! In dark conditions, it's not a problem. In bright lighting, no prob.
Anyone else notice this?
Thinking of exchanging for the black. The T Mobile store near me says they have the black in stock, and I can just come in and swap in out.
Anyone else thinking of changing their brown for the black?

They all have a dimly lit keyboard.

I have problems seeing mine. Seems that there is a glare from overhead lights. I have to put the keyboard at an angle to see it sometimes.

I do see times that the alternate keys are harder to see hbut I don't really have any trouble with the standard keys but they could have choose a better color for the alternate. The orange is a bit hard to see

I have pretty good vision so simply tilting the keyboard is adequate for seeing in low light conditions on my bronze. Is it that easy to swap out your phone for a different color?

I just called about exchanging my brown for black because I can only see the buttons in either harsh light or late at night. They said I would have to return the phone and then wait for a back-ordered black Android phone.
