using the dialer while talking?

Can anyone help me?, once i place a call i can't seem to get back to the dialer, to enter a number when prompt. like checking bank accounts, calling t-mobile, etc.

Swing the menu up with your thumb from the bottom of the screen, liek you would the applications menu from your home screen. :-)

Yea at first I was opening the screen, to push the buttons on the phone. Ha ha

I have to report my times at work by calling an automated system... I literally made my first call to the automated system and played with the dialer so I could figure out just how that works hehehe.

My only gripe is the screen times out very quickly, and while waiting for the voice prompt it'll go dark, and as much as it's a minor issue I have to go back down and press the menu button to be able to use the dialer again (fortunately I don't have to unlock the phone, phew!) I've had a few instances where the screen times out as I'm entering data into the keypad. Might be easier to not have the screen time out when the keypad is swung out... Already looked through the options.

The iPhone brings the screen back to life when you move it away from your ear. Let's get that on the G1.
