Few issues about the browser on the g1..
From what I've tested, downloading certain large files through the browser doesn't work. Downloading files less than 20 MB seems to work fine, but anything larger than that and I get an "unsuccessful download" message. Has anyone else had success downloading large files such as a podcast? The file stream through the music player fine, but I would rather download them which points to my next issue.
If I click on a streaming link in the browser to a music file it starts playing the music, but if I switch to another application, the streaming music stops. What happened to multi-tasking? I tested this with the youtube app also. I know the music player by itself plays in the background so I was just wondering if this is a limitation of those applications or if all applications generally behave the same way when pushed to the background.
Where is the "Find in page" option? When browsing through large amounts of information I just want to find a keyword. Has this just been left out?
Where are the bookmarks in the browser stored? If I factory reset the phone do I just lose all the bookmarks are they in the "cloud"?
