This is only my second post so let me first say Hi. This is also my first phone of this variety so I am a little green.
I can say that I do like the phone. I think what is trying to be done is great however what this phone does it does not do very well. I think the technology is just not up to speed with what is available.
Google Street View-----I mean it does google street view but it is a little slow and I noticed that moving down the street using the arrows is slow and if I do it a few times in a row it seems to lock up.
Web Browser-----The web browser is pretty cool. At least you can actually see full web pages but it is still a little odd using the scroll wheel and zooming is a little bit of a pain.
Touch Screen----I notice a lot of times I have to touch things multiple times to get it to take. The touch screen sensitivity just isn't what I thought it would be.
Navigation-----The real complaints about scrolling and navigating on the phone being a little choppy I think are accurate. The iphone seems to definately do a better job but I should say I have never owned one just played with it.
Other Emial Clients-----The ability to use other email clients kind of works but kind of doesn't. There is obviously a bug with deleting emails still showing up in your trash....I can't seem to get rid of them. I also get "Connection Errors" a lot. I don't seem to be getting all of the notifications either.
Contact Favorites----Seems this phone also likes to put contacts in my favorites although I did not select it as a favorite. It seems to do this anytime I call a contact after I hang up they are now in my favorites list.
Video----this just plain sucks. I downloaded the video player but cannot figure out just yet where to store videos to where they will be picked up. Also don't know any place where you can get movies or videos for the phone.
Camera----Completely useless for me. The shutter is sooooo slow I cannot take pictures as they are all blurred. What is the point of having 3mp when every shot is blurry as hell.
Battery----we all know the problems with this so I will not reiterate.
Music Player---I wish there was a stop button. It seems like you can only pause it then hit your home button to get away from it. I don't really understand this.
Head Phones----they suck, plain and simple.
Apps---I have tried a few and like only a few. The quick list which allows you to use your finger to write on the screen is useless because you have to use your pad of the finger therefore you cannot see what you are writing. It would be nice if the touch screen would allow you to use your fingernail. I do like the NFL app---pretty cool.
Well I guess that is all for now. I should also say that I worked in the software business so I am aware of how this works and how demand drives bug fixes and some of my issues will most likely be resolved. This is why I went with this phone. I know it is new and has some issues but I will continue to hope the wrinkles will be ironed out.
