Unknown ringtone

in a previous post, somebody said once a mp3 is made as an ringtone you can delete the song off the sd card and the ringtone won't be deleted, but on my phone they're deleted and labeled as unknown ringtone and it just vibrates when a calls comes in

If you delete an mp3 that you use as a ringtone, The phone goes back to the default ringtone that it was assigned. :)
