Just received my tracking information. Remember that it takes UPS 24-48 hours to update their info so your G1 could already be shipped but the information just isn't updated.

Lucky you...:) For some reason t-mobile decided to leave all the "pre-order" people hanging. They gave out the G1s to anyone that ordered online after it was release before any of us.

thats crap for all of you preorder people because I ordered my G1 8:00 am on the launch date and I'll have my G1 Wednesday my brother was livid that he has been ordered his and I auotomatically get my phone on demand.

They'll start shipping them out on the 27th. Don't be surprised if they pull another 'hostage' situation with our beloved G1's like they did with the first batch. I hope not!

I'm going to be calling UPS as soon as I get tracking (ordered on the 22nd with normal shipping) and will be upgrading to expedite shipping for $20. Can't wait longer.

Same here. The process was messed up for the pre-orders. Ordered mine at Wed morning 12:07am got it next day. So not fair for others.

I heard from the t-mobileg1 forum that they were going to be shipped after nov 10th but i'm not really sure.

I just checked my shipping info this morning and logged in to post about it. Found this post instead.

I ordered Oct. 7th and my delivery date is showing as the 29th.
Hopefully it will actually arrive on schedule. Really looking forward to having this phone in hand.

Went from lovining it and cant wait to to get a g1 to an iphone in 12 days. Well you and your iphone and focus have a nice "spunky" life together. Fanboys... :rolleyes:

Pre-ordered on the 8th but apparently they're just shipping it randomly and not according to the order date. If you check the t-mobileg1 forum everyone have different order dates.

Got a text message saying my G1 has shipped!!! I am so happy, cs says it is still showing it is backordered but says if I got text then I should get it before the week is over! No tracking for it though! I got it shipped to my p.o. box.

I JUST got mine in this morning. But prior to this morning, when it was actually delivered, I was given no reply to tracking the package.
When I actually checked UPS, I was suprised to see that shipped out yesterday and it was delivered.

Note: it also came with the build number RC28
