1.6ghz Nexus S Trinity16 kernel

thanks to Morfic from XDA and Team Whiskey, ive been playing with several versions of an alpha build of the Trinity16 kernel for the Nexus S. while stability is a concern of a few of the test versions, one or two could be used as a daily rom. but, i warn you, this isnt for the amateur or faint of heart. ive uploaded some pics/screens of some benchmarks and a video. to point out again, this is only an ALPHA version.. :)

I'm waiting to see the prices on the LG 2X, just saw a Quadrant of almost 2700 on a bone stock unit.

Don't forget quadrant doesn't properly render 3D on nexus s.
Which I think affects stock speed quadrants more than oc results.

well, get started before best buy closes :p

i have recieved the ok from morfic to share it with you guys(and gals, i know youre out there). please make a backup in recovery before you flash this, it will save me and you a lot of headaches! just flash this, do not wipe cache, do not wipe dalvik, do not pass go, collect your 200 :D anyways, this is compatible with CM7, and even recommended with CM7. flash your rom, flash your gapps, then reboot. now go back to recovery and flash the kernel, then reboot. dont be to rough on it the first couple minutes after boot,. i recommend that you put it in a sleep state(screen off) for a few seconds too, after boot. remember, its only an alpha and might not boot on your phone. enough with the chatter, here you go... enjoy :)

that 1.6ghz kernel is outdated now. probably wont work. you can try this 1.544ghz kernel http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2769033/T1544-05312011.zip
it works best with cm7. good luck!
