You can also use Menu + A to select all, then Menu + C to copy, Menu + X to cut, and then Menu + V to paste.
You can't copy/paste everywhere. I was excited to have this feature because I c/p a lot in email. However, you can't.

You can copy/paste anywhere you can enter text. There's no way to copy text from a document though, at least I haven't figured that out. But I don't think I've seen that kind of functionality in any phone.

I had it on my t-wing. Kinda miss it. But I'm sure lots of things will be dealt with soon

Ok so you push and hold anywhere, like on a webpage, then drag your finger until you're done copying. Then, lets say in a new email, you tap and hold again and it pastes?

If you don't know how to copy and paste you're better off sending your phone back and getting a refund.

Shift and scroll I think works if you want to copy something you just typed in a text-box. But what if you want to select something off of a website..? How do you do that?

You can't ! This is probably one of the worst let downs of this new operating systems and is one of the reasons that I am sending it back ! I can't believe they overlooked this feature.

was trying to send a link via text but it kept taking me to mail, then tried to copy/paste, couldn't figure it out. I'm hoping they will add a "share link" option on the long click window.
I don't think a copy/paste issue is a reason to send back the phone...lol Everytime I have an issue new software comes out to resolve it, quite nice, every other phone is what it is and your sol if you don't like it, ha.

I was disapponted at the limitation of c&p. But when u can c&p it's awsome. Let's hope they can update so we can c&p anything.

Not being able to cut-n-paste out of emails, or such the quoted message in when replying, is an annoyance that I hope will be fixed soon.
My current work-around is to log into Gmail through the browser, go to forward the messages, and then paste out of the body. It's annoying, but it works.

Oh man, look who's talking. Is it too late to do that with you?
You spew stupid all over the boards everyday and yet you have the tenacity to refuse help to someone who genuinely can't figure out a feature?
Who made you a mod? Autism sympathizers?

You can actually copy paste more or less everywhere, even from the GMail app:
Pull out the physical keyboard. Press and hold the hisft key, a cursor will now appear.
Use the mousewheel to what you want to copy, click the mousewheel once and then move the mousewheel over the text. when you let go of shift or click again it will copy the selected text to the clipboard.
Hope that made sense, just figured this out by luck today when I had to copy a UPS tracking number from Amazon.

just go one few days ago, so perhaps this has been upgraded. You can use also finger instead of wheel.

You are quite right, the only people who post these replies are those who do not know how to do it so they waste space with their empty replies.

"copy paste it" will copy paste from anywhere on your phone
It copies text from any screen/app.
It requires a rooted phone
